YM Service Projects
Whether we are collecting money for the homeless, gathering items for elderly
in our community, heading to the local soup kitchen, or using our time and energy to support any number of people in our community and our world, we are sure to provide opportunities throughout the year for our young people to give back to the community and learn what it means to lead a life of service. The information below will tell you about what service opportunities we have coming during this year. See below for upcoming events; this will be updated as we add events for the school year.
Spring 2020 Service Opportunities
Family Ministry Fancy Dance
Saturday, February 8th, 6:30-8:30pm
St. Mary’s Family Ministry is hosting their annual Fancy Dance in the Parish Hall, and they are looking for some awesome volunteers! Help is most needed during the dance at either the photo booth (taking photos for families with the parents’ cell phone) or in the food/kitchen area helping keep the tables filled with food. These are super easy and fun volunteer opportunities!

EDGE Teen Helpers (for teens in grades 9-12)
Monday Night Middle School Program
We are in need of high school students to help our Core Team lead small groups for our EDGE Nights. EDGE takes place on Monday nights, and you can choose to help from either 5:00-6:15pm or 6:45-8:00pm. At EDGE, you will be placed in a small group of middle schoolers, who are all the same gender and in the same grade. With this small group, you will have the opportunity to share your faith and the ways God has worked in your life! (Plus middle schoolers love to hear all your advice on middle school and really look up to you!) For more information on EDGE Nights and a calendar for the year, please visit stmaryhuntley.org/edgenights
Email Maggie at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in helping!

Kids for Christ is located in the lower level of the church during the 9:00 and 10:30 AM Sunday Masses. New children and adults who are looking to share their faith with the smallest members of the parish are always welcome. Questions? Please contact KidsforChrist@StMaryHuntley.org
