Sacraments

The sacraments are visible signs of invisible grace.  Catholics believe that the soul thirsts for the graces which sacraments alone can give.  For Catholics, sacraments are not merely ceremonies, religious rituals, or pompous pageants.  Through the powerful action of the Holy Spirit, sacraments transform and renew the human person from within.  Jesus Christ Himself instituted the seven Sacraments and entrusted them to His Bride, the Church, to nourish us, and sustain us on our journey toward heaven.
