Congratulations on the upcoming Baptism of your child!
If you have never attended a Baptismal Preparation Class:
You and your spouse will need to attend one Baptism Prep class, held on Sunday, once a month at 1:30pm. To arrange, please call the parish office at (847) 669-3137 any time during parish office hours. There will be a sign-in sheet at the Baptismal Preparation Class, and you need to sign in so we know you attended.
After you have both attended the Baptismal Preparation Class, you need to call the parish office again to schedule the Baptism date. The parish office will need the following information BEFORE they can schedule a date:

- The name of at least one godparent who meets the qualifications in our Baptism Packet.

We welcome most warmly anyone who is considering becoming Catholic at any degree of interest! We fully understand that some have been pondering this question for many years and have reached a point in life when they find themselves wholeheartedly ready to commit. Others come forward with some degree of hesitancy or curiosity and just seek more information as they try to make an informed decision about full membership in the Catholic Church.

St. Mary Parish has a program called RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) for those who seek a deeper understanding and full membership in the Catholic Church, which takes place on Thursday’s from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM.
