Prepare to go to confession. Take a listen to Fr. DiTomo's homily on the 10 Commandments:
FIRST CONFESSION
Children generally make their First Confession in Second Grade. It is highly recommended that your child begins Religious Education Classes in Kindergarten or First Grade in order to build the proper foundation for receiving the Sacraments. For more information about signing your child up to make his or her First Confession, see Religious Education. If your child is between Second Grade and Fifth Grade and has not yet made his or her First Confession, please contact the Director of Religious Education, Roberta Christian, at (847) 669-5953.
If your child is between Sixth Grade and a Senior in High School, and has not made his or her First Confession, please contact the Youth Ministry Office at (847) 669-5612.
If you are 18 years of age or older and you have not made your First Confession, see Becoming Catholic or contact Shirley Allen, Director of Adult Faith Formation, at (224) 654-8596.
